H&M opened its new flagship store in Paris (France), at 88-90, avenue des Champs-Elysées on October 6th, 2010, after 4 years of hard lobbying. It is the 11th store in Paris and the 140th in France.
Jean Nouvel, the world-famous architect, has designed the three-level store with a 2800 sqm floorspace, which is located in a building from the seventies. His idea was to merge the white limestone of Paris with an industrial dark that can be seen in the store fixtures and lighting.
"The store is a union between the world of fashion and architectural design and will be like no other H&M in the world."

Interesting blog, it reminds me of Le Marais in Paris, a fashionable district, most of the mansions turned to museum, libraries and schools, surrounded by the best clothes and food shops, and modern art galleries.
ReplyDeleteI tried to write a blog about it, hope you also like it https://stenote.blogspot.com/2020/11/paris-at-le-marais.html
