Wenger wins Store of the Year award
Nestled in Boulder (US) at the base of the majestic Rocky Mountains, in the epicenter of the North American outdoor community, the new retail store offers adventurers of all types – from mountain sport enthusiasts to world travelers – a retail experience like no other. Part museum, part showroom, part mercantile – the store allows consumers familiar with the quality of the Wenger Swiss Army knife to experience the entire breadth of our product line as well as learn more about the brand’s storied past. In order to accomplish this goal, the design team selected a space with a foundation of reusible material that required very litte additional elements. 85% of the existing space was left intact including exisiting floors, ceilings, and brick and stone walls. Much or what was added was created using recycled materials and designed by local artists. In March this year the store was awarded A.R.E. Store of the Year.
