Itsi Bitsi Cupcakes

This space, typical of the small stores on this stretch of Notre-Dame( Montréal, Canada), has no other structural charms beyond being well-proportioned and possessing two symmetrical windows situated on each side of the door. Yet even from the street, you can already see a lovely décor that is clean, modern, dominated by blond wood and has been dressed up with hints of colour. This store may serve cupcakes, but its style is much more Scandinavian than British. To the left, the sales counter is composed of windows and clever compartments. Inside, the well-aligned cakes form rows that progress by flavour. To the right, beautiful steel shelves hang over light wood storage cabinets. They serve to showcase a selection of objects and products that are as much a part of the décor as they are the commercial mission of the store. At the back of the space is a mural of giant photos that creates dynamism and reinforces the attention paid to the design.

Snog colours

Cinimod Studio has delivered its sixth Snog Frozen Yogurt store, and as always, design and technology boundaries have been pushed to deliver a unique retail space. The Chelsea (London, UK) store presented unique design challenges that included a deep shop unit with a relatively narrow shop front. This led to the Cinimod design team seeking new and innovative ways to create a highly visible store that would deliver an eye-catching high street presence using a fusion between sculptured architectural and lighting elements. Building on design explorations from previous Snog stores, Cinimod has taken the integrated furniture and lighting design to new levels. Discover more about the Snog store...

Kaasaffineurs Van Tricht

Kaasmeester Michel Van Tricht is a concept in the international world of cheese. His story began over 30 years ago with a modest deli in Berchem (Antwerp, Belgium). About 15 years ago he began to specialize in cheese. The love for cheese became a real passion. You can taste this in his beautiful shop in Berchem. Any cheese you can buy here is the result of a personal selection. Specialized in farm cheese that is often imported directly from small, artisanal cheese makers at home and abroad. Here you taste the work of the master cheese affineur: every cheese that comes in is further refined and matured (in-cell maturation) until the moment he perfectly "ripe" is to be sold.
