‘The first true luxury brand of the 21st Century’ is the banner under which Tom Ford operates and the fashion guru has opened in 2009 his first store in Milan (Italy).Ford himself asserts that “Milan is not only the fashion capital of Italy but also the home of luxury menswear.” And the man, who as creative director single-handedly pulled Gucci out of the ruins in the 1990s, has run a high-end fashion label under his own name since 2005 and has undoubtedly found exactly the right location to open his flagship store. Perhaps unsurprisingly, Ford’s fashion is for everyone, a concept which he introduced to Gucci more than 15 years ago.
